Behind Designing the Future.
Uncovering new impact through your own design-based projects.
In this unique workshop led by esteemed designer Lawrence Azerrad, participants will explore the practice of speculative design, which is examining the unknown through design, and fueling creativity through refreshed means of looking and listening. The workshop will be powerfully focused and fun. Participants will conceptualize, develop and design publication format pieces (this could be a book, a zine, a digital platform and much more). In the process you will spark fresh understandings of your work, your practice will evolve, take new shape, and find deeper and more focused understandings of your own work.
Each day is spent in rotation between mentorship meetings with the instructor, design process seminars, presentations by guest artists, and group critiques.
